Who we are
Il Delfino Tours, C.A. — trading as Delfino Tours — is a destination management company registered in Caracas, Venezuela, at Avenida Rómulo Gallegos, Torre KLM, offices C and D, Santa Eduvigis. For anything concerning your data, write to marketing@delfinotours.com.
What we collect
What you send us through the trade enquiry form: your name, your company, your e-mail address, the markets you sell and whatever you write in the message. What you send us when you contact us directly by e-mail or WhatsApp. And the standard technical data our host records for every visit — IP address, browser, pages viewed, date and time — which exists to keep the site running and secure.
We do not run advertising trackers and we do not profile visitors.
Cookies
The site sets only the cookies WordPress and our language plugin need: one to remember which language you are reading in, and, if you have an account with us, one to keep you signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies are set.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, to prepare quotations and programmes, to operate confirmed bookings and to stay in touch with you as a trade partner. The basis is our legitimate interest in replying to a business approach and, once we work together, the performance of our contract with you. Where consent is needed we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who else sees it
Our hosting and e-mail providers, acting on our instructions. The other companies of our group — Colombian Journeys, Chile Concept and Panama Journeys — when your request covers more than one country. And the suppliers a confirmed booking requires: hotels, posadas, lodges, airlines and guides. Nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising.
Where it is processed
We operate from Venezuela, and our group has offices in Colombia, Chile and Panama, so what you send us is processed outside the European Economic Area. When we work with partners established in the EEA or the United Kingdom we apply the contractual safeguards their law requires.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: up to twenty-four months. Records of partners we work with: for as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for the period Venezuelan commercial and tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it at all. Write to marketing@delfinotours.com and we will reply within thirty days. If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom and our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to your national supervisory authority.
