This route is the backbone of everything we sell. It puts a client in Venezuela's three unmissable places in a week, with a night in Caracas at each end to absorb the flight schedule, and it runs on our own lodges in Canaima and Los Roques — so the rooms are ours and the timing is under our control.
Day by day
Caracas — arrival
Fast-track assistance at Maiquetía, executive transfer to the hotel in Chacao. Time permitting, dinner in Las Mercedes.
Caracas → Canaima
Morning flight to Canaima. Reception at the airstrip, lunch at the lodge, afternoon by boat across the lagoon and the walk behind Salto El Sapo.
Angel Falls
Overflight of Auyantepui and Salto Ángel (weather permitting) and, in season, the river trip up the Carrao to the Ratoncito lookout. Return to the lodge at sunset.
Canaima → Los Roques
Flight via Caracas to Gran Roque. Welcome at the posada, first swim at Madrizquí.
Los Roques
Private boat to Cayo de Agua, the archipelago's most beautiful cay, with a beach set-up and lunch box.
Los Roques
A day for Francisquí and its natural pool, snorkelling, or a bonefishing guide for those who want one.
Los Roques
Free day: sailing, a kite lesson, or the hammock. Farewell dinner at the posada.
Los Roques → Caracas — departure
Morning flight to Caracas, day room or city tour depending on the international departure, and airport assistance for the flight home.
Who it is for
Couples and small groups on a first visit; clients who want the icon and the beach without an expedition. Extend with any module — Llanos, Andes, Orinoco Delta, Gran Sabana, Amazon, Choroní — or simply add nights in Los Roques.
Upgrades
A superior posada in Los Roques; a helicopter to the base of Angel Falls or onto the summit of Auyantepui; a private charter between Canaima and Los Roques to avoid the Caracas connection.
